Every garden in this portfolio started with a conversation. A client with an idea, a section with potential, and a process that turned one into the other. This was a family holiday home that needed landscaping with easy care plants that didn't need watering. The bach was simple and decorated very tastefully in an "old school" bach look so I wanted the garden simple in keeping with the style. With the help of High Country Earthworks we made bunds (soil mounds) and planted grasses and blue flowers on them. This gives a point of difference from just natives and creates a more wildflower look. Also added was a petanque court and driveway with planted entrance around the house. I tidied up and added to a hedge and woodland area creating more protection from winds.
